WELL here we are, practically at the end of 2009 – where did it all go? In a blur, obviously. It doesn’t seem five
minutes since we were eagerly anticipating a barbecue summer, strawberries and Wimbledon, and now here we are, just as eagerly anticipating Christmas, and the arrival of 2010.
The party season is well and truly on its way and to ease you gently into the festive celebrations, we’ve spoken to our twinning friends who give a fascinating insight into how Hereford’s French and German counterparts decorate their homes at thi time of year – with a glimpse at this year’s trend for Christmas trimmings.
With Christmas comes pantomime unless you’re at the Courtyard Theatre where the seasonal production is a yearround event. They’ve been keeping a diary on how everything comes together and it makes a fascinating read.
