Natural beauty

With this season's natural make-up trend calling for fresh, clean and radiant looking skin, it is more important than ever to go back to basics and ensure your skin is in great shape.

Hereford company Herbfarmacy has now launched what it says is the first Complete Skin Cleanse Pack (£25.50) aimed at working internally and externally.

For those who need a little more help, Herbfarmacy's product team has also developed the Skin Rescue Balm, handmade from a unique blend of herbs grown on its farm at Eardisley, ensuring that it's easy to be a natural beauty this summer.

The pack, for all skin types, includes: Wash Off Cleansing Mousse (£10.50) with soothing chamomile and marshmallow, organic cotton exfoliating cloth (£2.50), Damask Rose and Echinacea Toner and Dandelion and Burdock Tincture (£7.35) for inner cleansing. These products are also available individually.

Herbfarmacy claims the secret in its cleansing mousse is marshmallow, often neglected in skincare products and which is said to soothe, protect and soften the skin to give it a silky vibrancy.

Echinacea works naturally as a mildly astringent herb while dandelion, a well known liver tonic, combines well with the kidney toning powers of burdock, working as a cleanser for the skin and the whole body. "The efficient functioning of the liver and kidneys naturally influences the skin condition along with promoting general health and a sense of well-being," says Paul Richards, founder of Herbfarmacy. The Skin Rescue Balm (£7.50) completes Herbfarmacy's range of 16 organic skincare products. It is a luxurious herbal blend which melts into the skin to moisturise, soothe and protect dry and problem skin. www.herbfarmacy.co.uk
